Introduction : We present our new method of pancreaticojejunostomy: Single stitch pancreatic duct suture with drainage tube for pancreaticojejunostomy（SSPDSPJ）in laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenecomy.

Methods : During April 2016 to September 2017, patients that underwent LPD with single stitch pancreatic duct suture with drainage tube for pancreaticojejunostomy at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital of the Medical College of Zhejiang University and Zhejiang Provincial People’s Hospital were included in this study. Clinical data including estimated blood loss, operative time, pancreaticojejunostomy (PJ) time and postoperative data such as hemorrhage, pancreatic fistula, bile leakage, delayed gastric empty were collected retrospectively.

Results : No patient was converted to open surgery. Three patients underwent LPD with partial superior mesentery vein resection. The median operation time was 260 minutes . The median PJ time was 26 minutes. The median estimated blood loss was 160 ml, 10 patients (12.5%) underwent blood transfusion during operation. Postoperative complications included 8 patients (10.0%) with grade B pancreatic fistula, no patient with grade C pancreatic fistula, 4 patients (5%) with bile leakage and 5 patients (6.3%) with delayed gastric empty. Three patients (3.8%) had postoperative hemorrhage. Two patients had gastrointestinal bleeding from gastro-jejunum anastomosis and the hemorrhage of one patient was managed by postoperative endoscopy electronic coagulation, the other one was managed by DSA. One patient had intraperitoneal bleeding from omentum vein and underwent re-operation to stop bleeding. No 30-day mortality was occurred.

Conclusions : An encourage results was detected in initial 80 cases of single stitch pancreatic duct suture with drainage tube for pancreaticojejunostomy（SSPDSPJ）in laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenecomy.
